Description

Located 31 miles from Yellowstone National Park and ranked one of the "Top 8 cabins to visit in Idaho" by 'Only In Your State'. Beaver Springs Chalet has 2500 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 3&1/2 baths. It's perched on a beautiful 2 acre lot with Amazing views of the Teton Mountains and Yellowstone Basin. You'll feel like you're on top of the world while looking out over green meadows and ponds while enjoying the FireTable yet, just minutes away from Yellowstone National Park. The space In order to create a better experience for people, we have limited the number of stays per year. During this period we are sanitizing all the light switches, door knobs, handrails, plumbing fixtures and countertops as well as linens. this is above our regular cleaning routine which was quite thorough to begin with. This allows my family to ensure the chalet is always at a very high standard for cleanliness and comfort beyond anything else in the area. Listed as the #1 cabin in the Island Park area by "Airdna.co" for three years straight and #3 on the list of "Top 8 cabins in Idaho" by "onlyinyourstate.com" Beaver springs Chalet is a place to make some great memories. From the moment you walk through the door you'll find custom, handcrafted work my family and I created, every where you look. The chalet sits above the Mill creek ponds and overlooks the ancient Island Park volcano crater and scenic Teton mountains. Surrounded by large, old growth Douglas firs, you get the feeling of seclusion with some amazing views. Yet you are still very centrally to the areas amenities . West Yellowstone is exactly 31 miles. Ride horses, visit Mesa falls, fish the world famous Henry's Fork river, or check out some great restaurants that are right around the corner from the cabin. Guest access There are three bedrooms, each one on a separate floor to add a bit more privacy. The master bedroom has a beautiful on suite bath and king size bed. The other 2 bedrooms have queen beds and bathrooms adjacent to them. (Dont worry about running out of hot water. An 'On Demand' water heater supplies enough hot water to run all 3 showers at once with no shortage. Trust me, I had 3 little girls all covered in mud after playing in the ponds. They all went directly to the showers.) The loft area has 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed. On the middle floor there is a full kitchen with built in banquet dining, and room to seat at least 10 average size adults. There is also a 1/2 bath on the middle floor, as well as a comfortable lounge space and gas fireplace. The basement has a huge sectional that's super soft and comfy. And a 50" Ultra High Definition TV. Last but not least is the large deck where you can relax and watch blue heron in the ponds below. Or the moose, deer, hummingbirds, owls, and occasional bald Eagle that frequent the yard. We also have a firepit that you're welcome to use. There is plenty of firewood on the lot (just make sure the fire is completely out when you finish) Other things to note If you're interested in staying during the winter months. Keep in mind Island Park is snow country. It's not uncommon to have 5' of snow here. Although we keep all our roads and driveway cleared. Make sure you have an all-wheel or 4x4 vehicle with good tires. Also Beaver Springs Chalet sits above the main road with a driveway that switch-backs on its way to the house. (If you've ever driven to a ski resort you probably understand) if you're still not confident don't worry. There's plenty of room to park below. Also the Yellowstone National Park area is one of the most heavily visited areas in the 'World'. There will be other people around (likely quite a few) especially during the summer months. Be prepared for occasional traffic.
