The apartment, very bright and quiet, overlooking a nice courtyard and a really quite street, has just been completely renovated (works complete on November 2019). The space The edifice ia a typical Florence historical building of the nineteen century, during the period when Florence was capital of Itlay. The entrance is very nice with stone staircases and antique prints of the city. The house has 2 bedrooms, a living room with sofabed, a full equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with large shower box. Guest access The host will rent the whole apartment. Towels and linen kit are included. Beds come with hotel quality linen and top quality towels (one big shower towel, one face towel and one small bidet towel per person), soap and shampoo. The house is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, microwave, hair dryer, LCD tv screen, Wi-Fi internet connection, Bluetooth dock station and kitchen with everything you might need. Other things to note The police office of Florence requires that every guest is registered when arrived in town, so, when we meet, we'll have to ask you to take a picture of your passport/ID or the details of it. If you arrive by train: The express trains from the main cities such as Venice, Bologna, Rome, Milan and Pisa arrive directly at the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is only 5 minutes walking from the apartment. If you arrive by car: We suggest a private garage which is located on the same street, justin front of the main door of the building: GARAGE EUROPA Via Borgognissanti 29. Cost is €24 per 24 hours. The historic centre of Florence is a limited traffic zone area (ZTL area), therefore, special rules to enter or park in this area are apply. When you arrived at the parking, if you require them, they will avoid the fine communicating the license plate number of your car to the authority. If you arrive by plane: The Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci, is located approximately 20 minutes by taxi or by bus from the city center. The bus will drive you from there to the main train station and back. The cost of the taxi is approx €25. Have you considered flying to Pisa? The Galileo Galilei Pisa Airport is, most of the time, a much cheaper and better serviced, yet convenient option to travel to Florence. Shuttle buses connect Pisa airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station 24 hours a day, with a journey just under the hour for approximately 10 Euro.
