I Merli Castle House: large villa with pool!

In the middle of wilderness, olive groves and ancient etruscan ruins I Merli is a comfortable house in the heart of Tuscia only 1h15' away from Rome. It is suitable for families and children, for groups of friends. Secluded but close to the town, shops and beautiful walks to explore Etruscan remains, forests, gorges, medieval towns, museums. You can buy hand made ricotta or freshly baked bread. Or simply relax by the pool, in hammocks or in front of a beautiful fireplace. The space The house is fully equipped for our family: Me (Ernesto), Paola and our son Andrea, offering two modern kitchens with oven, dishwasher, pans, crockery and accessories suitable for cooking and eating for a group of 10 - 16 people. The large living room (about 90 m2) offers a double sofa bed and two bathrooms. On the first floor there are 3 spacious double bedrooms (2 of which have en-suite bathrooms). (Box-cot and high chair are available for the little ones). We also have 2 rooms with bunk beds that can accommodate up to 8 people (max 6 adults). On the floor two other bathrooms serve these three bedrooms. We have air conditioning (heating and cooling) in whole house. The exterior, for exclusive use and fenced and closed by a gate, consists of a beautiful garden (approx. 5000 m2), and an olive grove in production, DOP Tuscia certified. Outside you can park under the photovoltaic pergola as well as many other uncovered spaces, and there is a shed with BBQ, table and benches where you can eat outside. The offer is completed by our 12 x 5 m inground swimming pool, hammocks and sunbeds available. From the terrace (under restoration at the moment but will be avaible again soon)you can enjoy a splendid sunset and a panorama that ranges from the surrounding hills and olive groves to the nature reserve of Lake Vico (Monte Cimino and Monte Venere), up to Monte Argentario and, further inland, Monte Amiata. Guest access Private parking, barbecue, 20.0000 sqm garden and olive grove, outside chairs and chaise-longue, hammocks (from our trips all over the world). During summer a swimming pool is available. (a real inground pool 12 x 5 mt, 1,40 mt deep) for your private use. Other things to note The farmhouse offers, inside and outside, high-speed internet and wifi, even by the pool ;-) . In the large living room there are two fireplaces, equally large :-). The living room can be divided so as to create a large independent room with a double sofa bed, a private bathroom and kitchen. On request it is possible to organize visits with qualified guides both in the surrounding nature and in museums and archaeological areas. All consumption is included, even wood (in reasonable quantities) for the fireplaces. We provide bed linen, 1 hand towel and 1 bidet towel each guest. Shower/bath towel are not provided. For the kitchen we provide as a first supply a couple of dish sponge, some dishwasher and hand washing soap, a couple of kitchen towels and garbage bags. Pets allowed upon notice.
