Townhouse in Silloth
Description
Grade 2 listed building built in 1860, this home has amazing views over the Solway Firth. We offer a private living room with great views over the Solway. An ideal base to discover the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall. We offer 2 double rooms, one twin and a single. We only ever book one party at a time so that you don't have to share the facilities with strangers. Pets welcome The space This is a spacious house with wonderful Victorian features. It was built as a guest house and lends itself well to this purpose. Guests have the whole of the top floor to themselves and also have a stunning living room on the first floor, which looks over the Green to the Solway and Criffel in Scotland. There are a number of good places to eat in the town as well as excellent take away food (fish & chips especially) all within a 5 min walk. The Green is a wonderful place for letting kids and dogs run. There are also some great play facilities too. We get a lot of porpoises and dolphins in the estuary so you may just catch a glimpse, if you are lucky. The back garden is secure so is ideal for letting dogs out. If you are lucky you may get to meet our 1969 Morris Minor Panda car, but she is a busy lady so not around all the time. Guest access Guests have their own living room and a private bathroom. During your stay We are on site but will give you as much space as you want. Maggie and Finn, however may demand your attention. Other things to note Please note we do not currently offer self catering facilities.
