Our purpose built bnb ensures your comfort & privacy with panoramic views from a glimpse of the sea to the hills. This quiet area is a short stroll away from a scenic walk trail along the beach which takes you past the Golf Course or the Janie Seddon shipwreck. Ideal location to visit the Abel Tasman, Golden Bay & many more local attractions. Motueka township is close which offers some great cafe's & amenities. We both have a great knowledge of the area which we love to share if you wish. The space This room is situated on the upper floor within our home and is warm and inviting. The room has table and chairs, ensuite - shower, toilet, basin. The kitchen area consists of bench, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. We supply bread, spreads, homemade muesli, fruit, milk, tea and coffee. No cooking in the room but you are welcome to heat pre-prepared meals in the microwave. The room has a queen bed. Our home features beautiful New Zealand rimu timbers throughout including the staircase. Please remove your shoes in the downstairs entrance. Our living is downstairs so you will have privacy away from our family which consists of ourselves and our 2 boys who are 22 and 16 years old. Please note - we also have a second room that sleeps up to 4 guests complete with the same facilities including a private en-suite. Great for couples travelling together or families. Both rooms are lockable. Listed on Airbnb but please feel free enquire on availability. Guest access Carparking is off street on the left hand side of our garage in the driveway. Access is though our main front door, up the stairs to your room. During your stay Grant and I are happy to chat with guests and have extensive local knowledge of all the amazing activities and places to visit in our beautiful area. We are also happy to respect your privacy. Other things to note We are only a 20 minute drive to the beautiful golden sand Kaiteriteri Beach and only 30 minutes from Marahau, the entrance to the Abel Tasman National Park. A 60 minute drive will take you to Takaka (Golden Bay) which offers many attractions like the Te Waikoropupū Springs. Eating out. Motueka has a large number of choices for eating out and also takeaways. Toad Hall - a local café that is highly rated and has the best real fruit icecreams.
