Combining period features and modern-day touches such as the cinema room, shared indoor pool and tennis court plus uninterrupted views over the beautiful Devon countryside make for an unforgettable stay. The space Corffe House is ideal for family gatherings and group celebrations due to its idyllic location and first class facilities. The estate is nestled on the outskirts of the picture postcard village of Tawstock, handily located a short drive from the bustling market town of Barnstaple and within easy reach of the stunning North Devon coastline with its amazing beaches and endless attractions. With ample reception rooms, nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms (six of which are ensuite) the house itself offers both space and character with many charming period features including large sash windows, original shutters, marble fireplaces and ornate coving. Whether you choose to make Corffe your home for a week or just a short break you are sure of a warm welcome. Corffe House is located in five acres of grounds with parking and landscaped gardens including a terrace, lawn and large pond. Additional facilities include an adventure play area and barbecue hut for hire. These facilities are shared with Corffe Cottages, a complex of nine converted holiday cottages located in the former stables of Corffe House. SHARED POOL - We use an online booking system so guests can prebook their daily exclusive swim. As house guests you can prebook 2 hrs (2 separate slots or one double slot) exclusive use per day. On the day you can book additional swim time should it remain available. PLEASE NOTE: The indoor pool is in a separate building to the house and is shared with the onsite cottages. That said it is only approx 15 meter walk door to door and the pool house is open from 9am until 10pm everyday so there is plenty of time for everyone to enjoy a swim. We allow a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs to stay in Corffe House. Dog terms and pet fees will apply. Please notify us prior to check-in.
