The 3BD/2BA layout is within my apt, but only the entrance hallway is shared. Everything shown in your photos is for your exclusive use. You’ll enter through the hallway into the room with the gray sofa (it changed to red)The blue sofa, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and second full bath are located in the basement. The space Welcome to The Lafayette, one of DC’s earliest apartment buildings, built in 1898 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its beautiful brick facade reflects Queen Anne style architecture, while the interiors are fully renovated and immaculately clean. Please note: Most of the apartment is located in the basement, and the windows do not open. It’s a unique and cozy layout that many guests love! The thermostat is located upstairs, near the main entrance, and the heat can be stronger in that room. For extra comfort, portable heaters are available in every room downstairs. Layout: Upstairs - 1st Bedroom (Entry Room): You’ll enter the unit through the room with the rusty-colored sofa. It has a queen bed with a full-size trundle (blue bed), plus a private full bathroom. This room provides access to the basement area. Guest access Guests can access all the areas listed in the photos. The only part that guests will share will be the hallway at the entrance of the apartment. All areas in the photos are not shared. Other things to note - Part of the apartment is in the basement with lots of lights. - There is a portable a/c in the room upstairs - There is a switch (the second on the right) next to the sink downstairs in the kitchen that turns the dishwasher on and off. Please leave it on so you can use the dishwasher. - The shower handle in the downstairs bathroom is switched (the cold sign is for hot, and the hot is for cold) - The toilet flush system downstairs is a bit sensitive.
