Description

Cozy microloft on the second floor (north) overlooking the quiet inner courtyard of Osogna, an authentic village preserved by tourism. Open space with mini kitchen and bathroom integrated into the room, without ceiling. On the ground floor, we have a self-service shop with local products. Nearby: bathing waterfalls with restorative energy and free parking. TICINO TICKET included: free public transportation trips and discounts on numerous experiences throughout Ticino. The space Studio il Tiglio - Secret retreat of the house A nest of silence and contemplation Located on the second floor of Casa Vino e Birra, Studio il Tiglio shares the minimalist and conscious philosophy of its twin on the ground floor. This microloft represents the essence of living distilled into a space where every inch is significant, every element tells a story. The art of spatial lightness As suggested by a Zen approach to architecture, the Studio features a bold design with a toilet and waterfall shower that flow into the main room without a ceiling separating them. This unconventional choice creates a sense of continuity and openness in a compact space. An advanced ventilation system ensures perfect air exchange, keeping the environment fresh and healthy in every season. Embrace of shadow and stillness Facing north, the Studio overlooks the quiet courtyard of the house, a corner protected from the hustle and bustle and excess light. This particular exposure offers a quality of diffused and soft light that invites reflection and deep rest. In the summer months, the north-facing orientation becomes a valuable ally against the heat, offering a cool refuge in the hottest hours. A space that transforms with you The bed, the heart of the Studio, adapts to your needs: it can be configured as a comfortable single (80 cm), two separate beds for friends or colleagues, or a cozy double (160 cm). Unless otherwise requested in advance, we always prepare it as a double bed - an invitation to shared rest. An essential wardrobe completes the sleeping space with elegant discretion. Culinary essentials The kitchen area concentrates everything you need in a measured space: a square table for two people, a refrigerator, electric hot plates and a small microwave. Essentiality here is not deprivation but liberation - the right space to prepare simple dishes with local products from our self-service store, without excess or waste. Little ones are welcome For couples with an infant or toddler, the Studio can accommodate a travel cot (with a surcharge of CHF 30 for preparation and cleaning) – just let Clara know in advance. Upon request, we also provide a high chair for the little ones' meals free of charge. Ideal base for authentic exploration From its elevated position on the first floor, Studio il Tiglio offers a privileged view of the village. To explore beyond the borders of Osogna, we provide you with the Ticino Ticket free of charge, which will allow you to travel freely throughout the canton by public transport and benefit from numerous discounts on local experiences and activities – a way to discover the authentic Ticino starting from a place still preserved from mass tourism. Vibration and calm Like every space in Casa Vino e Birra, Studio il Tiglio also benefits from the special energies that flow through this land. The waterfall, mountains, and river create a subtle energy field that many guests describe as regenerating – an impalpable quality that is perceived in the silence of the night or in moments of quiet contemplation. Guest access Your home away from home Guests have access to an honest shop (self-service shop) located on the ground floor of the house, in contact with the beautiful village square. Here you will find a careful selection of local products: daily fresh bread, butter, mountain honey, handmade meals, artisanal pasta, homemade sauces, artisanal ice cream, fresh salads, alpine cheeses, and organic eggs. The sale of the valuable Ticino wine and local craft beer takes place in the charming basement area of the house, where the natural temperature preserves these specialties at its best. Outside, on the quiet village square, we created an area with tables and loungers for relaxing in the sun, perfect for outdoor breakfasts, afternoon readings or aperitifs at sunset under the Ticino sky. On the cellar floor there is a laundry room with clothesline outside (free on request) and the area destined for recycling (glass, pet, aluminum and paper), in line with our commitment to sustainability. Our personal guide to the area When you arrive, you will find our exclusive guide, available in several languages, which we have created specifically for our guests. In it you can discover general information about the territory, gastronomic suggestions personally selected by us, and a series of excursions and authentic experiences to live on site. This guide is the result of our deep knowledge and love for this land, and will help you discover corners and flavors that often escape conventional tourist circuits. Other things to note A village of water and stone Our village has the distinction of being in close contact with beautiful river waterfalls with fresh, clear water that descend from the steep rocky mountains, creating a breathtaking natural scenery that embraces the characteristic historic center. This proximity to the water is not just aesthetic: measurements in Bovis units reveal that Osogna is located at a point of particular telluric energy, perceptible in different places in the village. Casa Vino e Birra: a building that tells stories The house that hosts you has been renovated following the principles of slow architecture, preserving the soul of the original late nineteenth-century building that once housed a small bar for the sale of wine and beer, from which it takes its name. The spaces have been designed as living organisms that interact with the energy of the place, using natural materials such as stone, lime, wood and iron. Many guests tell us about special sensations during their stay: deeper sleep, vivid dreams, an amplified perception of the surrounding environment. This is not just a matter of suggestion: it is the result of an approach to hospitality that considers not only physical comfort, but also energy and spiritual comfort. Services in the village In our village, our guests can take advantage of the following services: GROTTO AL POZZON: open only during the period April-October, authentic Ticinese Grotto that serves local products and is located near the bathing area with the visible waterfall. You will be served by our DUCCIO, an authentic host who cares about the freshness of the local products offered. Only cold products such as cold cuts, roast beef, dried meat, alpine cheeses and salads (no pasta, pizza...) BAR DEL GIOVAN: typical original 1960s coffee bar with the equally original GIOTTO host (possibility of having a full breakfast for CHF 10) PIZZAMANIA: a takeaway pizzeria where we can guarantee the authenticity and goodness of its pizzas and the kindness of NICOLA. Unfortunately, we don't have a grocery store at the moment, so I invite you to shop before you arrive. However, our small self-service shop on the ground floor of Casa Vino e Birra offers selected local products and can be useful for last-minute purchases or to discover local specialties. Basic amenities in our accommodations In our accommodations we provide basic: Shampoo and shower gel, oil and vinegar, salt and sugar Bed sheets, towels, and dish towels for the kitchen For coffee, we have a Bialetti moka coffee maker and a filter coffee maker. In addition, in the self-service area on the ground floor you will find an espresso machine for a fee (CHF 2.50 per coffee). Experiences beyond Osogna A five-minute drive away you will find Biasca with everything you need to shop, and 15 minutes away you will find Bellinzona, a beautiful quiet town with a nice market on Saturday mornings and three castles recognized by UNESCO. Osogna is also an ideal starting point to experience the Thermal Contrast Ritual on hot summer days: lie down on the smooth stones heated by the sun, and then immerse yourself in the fresh waters of the waterfall, in a cycle that regenerates body and spirit according to an ancient local tradition. In the area we also have rock with sport climbing routes, stones for boulder lovers and beautiful rivers for canyoning. You can take advantage of the free Ticino Ticket, which allows you to travel for free throughout Ticino by public transport and get discounts on numerous experiences. An invitation to shared care We try to offer a very high quality of cleanliness and services, so we rely a lot on the cooperation of guests to take care of our accommodation. Every effort by guests allows us to offer the best at a suitable price. We therefore invite you to experience the house as if it were your own and to report any problems. Casa Vino e Birra is not just a place to stay, but an experience that invites you to slow down, to rediscover the value of slow time, authentic connections and dialogue with a territory rich in history and nature.
