Tourism NI The space Princess Becfola The Irish romantic inspired by the fairytale “ The Wooing of Becfola” created in our 1860 original Belfast cottage. “Becfola “ is the rags to riches princess story, by the Queen Victoria park in the Titanic district of Belfast. Becfola has just been completed after 2 1/2 years craftsmanship's work. “The wooing of Becfola”, is an actual fairytale with a penniless Antrim girl, who becomes the Queen of the kingdom. We follow her love story in a fairy world forest theme with over 18 000 LED lights. Her story is hand written on the walls throughout the house and gardens. We follow the story of Becfola with viscous wolves, evil witches, princes, princess, and lots of good and not so good fairies. From the front door, to the golden four poster beds on the top of the trees, through the real forest tunnel, soak in the witches cauldron and rest in the princess castle where we find the end of our story. The Becfola theme world is 100% hand painted, hand sculptured, with hand made furniture including a kissing corner in this beautiful Belfast 1860 cottage. With our ambient sound design our guests will feel they are helping Becfola find the love of her life. “Becfola” is conveniently situated only 0.5 miles from Sydenham Railway Station, 2 miles from Belfast City Centre, 1 mile from the Titanic Visitor Centre and a walking distance of 0.5 miles from Belfast George Best City Airport. Parking is available right outside the front door. The holiday home features 2 double bedrooms, a flat-screen TV satellite channels, an equipped kitchen with a washing machine and microwave, a Victorian bathroom suite with a shower. The Hot Tub or ( Witches cauldron ) is an optional extra with a surcharge and a pre booked and paid for before arrival. The Witches Cauldron ( Hot Tub ) This is an optional extra with surcharge, and needs to be pre booked and arranged with the host. Please contact the host for details. When 2 guests book and wish separate bedrooms, we have a laundry charge of 20 GBP to cover the extra laundry costs. Children under 1 are free Guest access The guests will have the entire cottage for themselves. Other things to note Our Becfola Princess world is completely hand made, so take care of our holiday home that took 2 1/2 years to create. The hot tub as mentioned previously is an optional extra with a surcharge and needs to be pre arranged and agreed with the owner.. Bathrobes and slippers are no longer available.
