'Otter' at Otterburn Bed & Breakfast

Otterburn Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated for visitors seeking the tranquillity of panoramic views over majestic Loch Sunart. 'Otter' is our premier ground floor double bedroom has stunning loch views; what better way to wake up in the morning? If you're lucky, our local otter may even make an appearance! The room is very comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with oak furniture, luxurious super king-size bed and very spacious ensuite bathroom. The space We are a traditional B&B offering high quality ensuite guest rooms and a full cooked breakfast. Please note we are not a self-catering accommodation and guests do not have access to a kitchen. There is a choice of places to eat an evening meal locally to suit all budgets. Guests have use of our dedicated guest lounge that overlooks the loch where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast to start your day or watch out for our resident otter while relaxing in a comfortable armchair after a busy day out and about. Also based at Otterburn is the outdoor adventure provider, Otter Adventures, Our guests can enjoy such experiences as exploring the loch on our doorstep from canoe or kayak under the guidance of our friendly, experienced team. We take every care to offer a safe and squeaky-clean environment while ensuring you feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. We have two other guest rooms ; 'Stag', which faces the rear of the house, and 'Pine Marten', which overlooks the loch. Both are double ensuite rooms. Guest access Parking is available on site. All the guest accommodation is located on the ground floor which is accessed by two steps. You can explore widely on foot, bike, canoe or kayak within the immediate vicinity of the B&B (we're very happy to make recommendations if you like). To explore further afield you will need your own transport as public transport is extremely limited. During your stay We pride ourselves on our genuinely warm hospitality and are more than happy to offer ideas about places to go and things to see in the area. We also like to hear about what our guests have discovered whilst out and about. Other things to note As well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cereals, we offer a full cooked breakfast or daily specials to tempt you with something that’s a little different such as blueberry pancakes, bursting with flavor, or Eggs Benedict. All food is cooked to order so no need to make your mind up the night before! In your room is a generous welcome tray with a wide selection of hot beverage choices and homemade shortbreads or cakes to tempt you with. Bottled water is provided. We can set you up for a day of exploring with a hearty packed lunch for just £9 per person. If you are staying for five nights or more, on a night of your choice, a simple but delicious homemade evening meal can also be freshly prepared for you with main courses starting at just £14. Please note, we need an absolute minimum of 24 hours notice for additional meals or packed lunches as we are a small B&B and can only prepare to order.
