Each mattress and bedding are specialized for a complete rest for sleepers. For colder days you have the option to light a large fireplace that gives body to the Carmine red living room. There is no shortage of vegetation, whether on the island or around the house. You can also have lunch or dinner at your leisure in the small outdoor garden while sunbathing and enjoying the sea air. The beach, as well as the main grocery store on the island, is only 400 meters away from the house, ideal for walking enthusiasts who want to take their daily walk. An ornithological station: The former quarry of Kastell Erek is now the property of the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO), which has set up an ornithological station and a care center for oiled birds, victims of degassing and oil spills. Eight employees and up to 70 volunteers work in this structure. It is not possible to visit the care center, but cameras have been installed and allow visitors to the station to see the treatments provided to guillemots and other puffins so that they can fly again.
