The space The old cottage, which was fully renovated with taste and respect to the Cycladic minimalistic architecture, is characterized by simplicity and looseness. The house has traditional wooden ceiling and thick stone walls. Cozy, not too big, but though very functional (it is 45 m2 plus the smart attic bedroom), it can accommodate two adults . There is one double bed, a sleeping couch (and a baby cot available). The house has also a fully equipped modern kitchen for self catering. The pleasant living room opens directly to the main terrace and is connected to the functional open plan kitchen and indoor informal dining area. The outdoors features a large veranda covered with pergola with a lovely shaded place which includes a dining marble table and a rest area, completely wind-sheltered, enjoying good privacy and providing an ideal location for al-fresco meals or evening cocktails with the moon and the lights of Syros island flicker across the sea. LOCATION This typical Cycladic guesthouse is located in a peaceful site upon a hill at the height of 300m above sea level, 2.5 km from the centre of Parikia. It perfectly combines convenience with totally relaxing environment and panoramic views of the Aegean blue from its indoor and outdoor areas. Situated on a private property (a 4500 m2 plot of land) and surrounded by age-old olive trees and Mediterranean bushy vegetation (fruit trees, aromatic herbs,vineyard, lavender and wild flowers) the place offers an amazing unobstructed view over the town, the port and the bay of Parikia, besides the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands. Its privileged countryside location allows guests to enjoy the tranquil Cycladic ambience with maximum quietness, privacy and relaxation. Sometimes the only sound is the wind and the cicada song. Breathtaking sunset views will keep these holidays amongst one’s best memories. Own transport (a car or a motorbike) is needed with freedom to discover Paros and Antiparos at own pace.
