Over 25 years we have created a peaceful & serene space only 25 minutes from Hobart CBD and ferry to Bruny Island. Set on 20 acres of native bush with creeks, rainforest gullies and walking tracks, there are over 30 different species of birds & an abundance of native wildlife right at your doorstep. Home baked bread provided for your stay and you can visit our Strawbale Gallery: an inspirational space where you can see & be with the inside & outside. Displayed art is available to purchase. The space We look forward to welcoming you and enhancing your Southern Tasmanian experience at Inside Outside Art Gallery and Accommodation. The Guest House is a handcrafted build of Tasmanian celery top pine & hardwood. Inside: Sleeping up to 6 Adults (2 separate bedrooms) with living area and kitchenette on each floor and an undercover walkway to separate outdoor toilet and bathroom/laundry. Please note: Couple Rate is for one bed on one floor only. Outside: We have direct private access to the 'Old Tramway Track' (originally built in 1906). This is now part of the well-formed Kaoota Trail, where you can experience kilometres of walking or cycling. A short stroll from your doorstep will take you into the rainforest where you are dwarfed beneath majestic 100 year old Swamp Gums. Enjoy a tranquil walk, clear your head & be enchanted by the bird song in this magical part of the world. Savour the pure, clean air of nature. Guest access We have plenty of onsite parking. Public transport is not available outside of Margate (a 5-minute drive away) so Taxi or Uber if you do not have your own vehicle. Metro buses run between Margate and the CBD. Other things to note Price is per couple, per night, per bedroom on one level only. Each additional guest/bed - $75 per night. Additional charges will apply if extra beds are used on couple rate.
