Your bathroom is just a few steps from the yurt along a paved path (not ensuite) . It is stocked with deluxe towels and blissful, local products, that invite you to take time to pamper yourself. LOCATION The private, fully fenced and space is centrally located on the Southern Mornington Peninsula, in the residential suburb of Tootgarook (next to Rye). This allows guests to explore the all the peninsula has to offer - everything from wine to wellness! The hot springs, our local café and Rye shops are just a short drive away. The space is fully fenced and private. All amenities are your own, with no shared spaces. There is free street parking out the front of the property. Walk up the drive to access Yurt Hideaway’s private entrance and the enchanting space surrounded by garden. We respect your privacy and give you space to enjoy your stay! Yurt Hideaway hidden away on a residential street in Tootgarook, a bayside suburb next to Rye on the Mornington Peninsula. Our central position on the peninsula makes it perfect for exploring the area... from Sorrento to Flinders and everywhere in between! The property is just 800m walk to the stunning beach of the bay (Capel Sound Foreshore). The Rye back beaches and the Peninsula Hot Springs are just 5 mins drive. Red Hill, known for it's food & wineries, is a 20 minute drive. It is a 2 minute drive to Rye. Here you'll find all the essentials, including the supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants and shops. There is limited public transport on the peninsula - the best way to get around is by car. Parking is available just outside the property. There are taxis and Uber drivers at peak times but book ahead as they are limited and get very busy.
