Home in Séné

WELCOME to the house on its rock! Set on granite, it is actually a typical Breton captain's house that is over 100 years old.  We completely renovated it in 2019 to make it our main residence. Quiet, spacious and bright, it is located in the village of Séné in the Gulf of Morbihan. It has an enclosed garden with swing, Mexican fireplace and vegetable garden. The space This is an ideal family home to slow down: no TV but board games, a coffee table football, a movie screen, bicycles and bodyboards are available to disconnect. The enclosed garden is perfect for relaxing in the hammock. The house is located near the church and town hall with all shops within walking distance: bakery, restaurants, bookstore, florist, supermarket and organic market on Friday afternoon. The hiking trails and the GR34 start at the foot of the house. The 47 km of coastline offers magnificent views of the Gulf. Beaches are 10 minutes away by bike for swimming or shore fishing. Embarking for Séné means discovering a superb natural heritage where the marine landscapes mingle with the surrounding countryside. More than 70 kilometers of paths crisscross the municipality. You can discover the different views on foot or by bike: Port-Anna, the Pointe du Bill, the Boëde and Boëdic islands, the fishing villages, the ornithological nature reserve... Departure from Séné for multiple getaways on one of the most beautiful bays in the world: Île d'Arz, Île-aux-Moines, Ilur, Boëde... For a cruise that will take you from island to island, on a sailboat, kayak or one of the traditional sinagots, you are spoiled for choice! Guest access Parking is possible in front of the house or further away on the square. All local shops and restaurants are within walking distance in less than 5 minutes: 2 bakeries, bar-tobacconist-press, pharmacy, Carrefour Market, bookstore, florist... and also a crêperie and pizzeria.
