You'll be enchanted by this quiet town in Harbor Country! One-night stays welcome! We're a 3 minute walk to the main strip w/: • Journeyman Distillery ft. I live on the other side of the house, although the Airbnb is entirely separate, including two separate entrances and a private back porch. The space was recently remodeled with all new appliances, including in-unit W&D, dishwasher. After a day out, return to your cozy home base & lounge and/or: • Enjoy making a meal in the fully-loaded kitchen • Hammock, play yard games, read, or have a bonfire • Stream TV from most services (using your own login), or • Enjoy the sitting area in the bay window for lunch or games (find some board games and puzzles here or bring your own!) Easy street or alley parking The entrance is accessible by keypad. You have a separate entrance in the front and back, and I'm right next door should you need anything. You can check in privately; I will message the instructions--or I'd love to meet you! Three Oaks is a small lustrous community deeply rooted in its historic beginnings. Walking the village takes 15 minutes across and 30 minutes up and down. It's truly quaint; a handful of visitors have likened it to Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls. Outside the main strip of art and dining, past the 542 houses, Three Oaks is surrounded by family farms originating centuries ago. Walking: • The main drag will take 3 minutes, where you score some great pastries at Froelich's Bakery, step into an art gallery, see an off-beat film at the Vickers, and be charmed by the Village of Three Oaks. • Journeyman is 9 minutes away • Dewey Cannon Park, with live music on Saturday eves in the summer, is 6 minutes • The Farmers Market on Thursdays is 5 minutes Driving: • Townline Beach is the nearest beach at 10 min • 5-15 minutes to a dozen nature preserves and hiking trails • 10 minutes to the casino in New Buffalo • 10-20 to any number of wineries and breweries • 10-20 to our quaint neighboring towns like Sawyer and Buchanan • 25 to Michigan City for a boat ride or the outlet mall Three Oaks is entirely walkable. You can check out the welcome packet upon checking in to see full lists of local activities and events. The Pink Garden is not well suited for kiddos. It is not childproofed or baby proofed. The bedroom doesn’t have clearance for a pack n play or crib. No pets, I’m sorry.
