Located in Florence, the antique capital of Colorado, our little studio apartment has big personality. It's the perfect size for a couple or small family. You can warm breakfast in the kitchenette and enjoy eating outside on the private attached balcony. After a hard day of playing at our areas numerous attractions (hiking, mountain biking, white river rafting, Royal Gorge Tourist Train, and the Royal Gorge Bridge to name a few), a comfortable bed awaits you in a cozy home away from home. The space A wide variety of quality restaurants are located within a few minutes drive . There are numerous attractions to enjoy close to Florence like white water rafting, the Royal Gorge Train, the Nation's highest suspension bridge, mountain bike trails and antique stores. Our studio apartment is located on the second story above the garage and has 2 flights of steps to get to the room. Due to the stairs the room is not considered handicapped accessible. Guest access The studio apartment is on the second story above the garage which is detached from the main house and has a private entrance with self check in access. Please note, there are two flights of stairs (8 steps per landing) to reach the apartment and the room is not considered handicapped accessible due to the stairs. There is an attached balcony to the guest room with seating and a comfortable space provided for our guests to smoke outside. Other things to note There are two flights of stairs (8 steps per landing) and a gravel walkway to reach the private studio apartment. Due to its location it is not handicapped accessible. There is a microwave and refrigerator but no cooking surfaces. There is an active train track across the street from us with about 3 short trains coming through per day. We follow the Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol which involves through cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces. No smoking or open flames of any type are allowed inside our studio apartment. This includes but not limited to cigarettes, vaping and marijuana. There are designated places outside to smoke. While there is no cook top or oven in the kitchenette, there is a small coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave in the kitchenette with plenty of storage in the cabinets. Dishes, glasses, coffee cups and silverware are also provided. There is a smart TV in the room that has Roku which has many great movies and TV shows. You can also sign into your personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. If you do sign into your personal account, please make sure you sign out of your account prior to check out. Please note, we do not have cable, satellite or local stations . We do have a futon/sofa which can fold out into a double size bed. Please let us know in advance and we will set it up for you.
