Whether you want to: * Visit the Loire Castles (Amboise, Chenonceau...) * Hike ("Loire by bike") * Discover the vineyard and the troglodyte cellars of the Loire Or just take a quiet break... You've come to the right place! The space The house is recent (13 years old), located close to the center of Montlouis, in a quiet clearing, away from the street (60 m) The proposed bedroom is upstairs and therefore not accessible to PRM. A large mezzanine, (with library area, TV and Internet), serves 2 bedrooms including this one; The bathroom and separate toilets are common to both bedrooms. The room has a double bed (with the possibility to add a cot) and a wardrobe. Access to the room is direct and does not require crossing the ground floor and the "owners" space. Parking allows for comfortable and private parking... and we can also store your bikes or motorcycles in our garage. Possibility of access to the kitchen and its equipment. We are a couple of active retirees, who have known the region for many years and enjoy the company and exchanges (always thirsty to know other cultures)... but we also know how to respect everyone's rest and be discreet when necessary! We have a reasonable command of English! Guest access Access to the room is direct, but we are ready to welcome you to share and discuss the region or any other topic with you. The garden and veranda are also accessible for relaxation or meals. During your stay We are a couple of active retirees, who have known the region for many years and enjoy the company and exchanges (always thirsty to know other cultures)... but we also know how to respect everyone's rest and be discreet when necessary! We are reasonably fluent in English! Other things to note Super full breakfast is optional (€5/pers, payable on site) We leave access to the kitchen if necessary... but Annie can, upon prior request, prepare a simple and complete meal for €15/pers. Various information about the area is available Internet and Wi-Fi access. TV and library freely accessible.
