It is a secluded location, self-contained with 2 bedrooms, your own fully-equipped kitchen, living + bathroom, 30 min. drive to Hobart & a short drive to the Bruny Island ferry terminal. A great hub for exploring Tasmania's Sout The space This guesthouse is a true home with quality furniture from the family, most of those from the 60s/70s/80s. This house was built with passive solar heating in mind, double glazing throughout, with magnificent views to the East overlooking the D’Entre Casteaux Channel from the dining table. Quality appliances, designer kitchen and a well stocked pantry will make it a pleasure to prepare meals. The guesthouse has 2 generous bedrooms, a large galery like hallway and open plan kitchen, dining and living area on appr. 120m2 The property is totally secluded with magnificent water views, a lovely garden with a mix of native and European bird attracting plants. A small orchard and veggie garden with chook run provides for us and our guests. SAUNA: We are very pleased to offer our guests the use of the sauna. Located close to the guesthouse and in a garden setting it offers beautiful water/ valley views. You can book a time slot of 2 hrs for two and up to 4 person. A small contribution toward running costs and maintenance applies. Guest access You have a private carport and entrance and a sunny patio, partly covered with laser light. Other things to note Snug has an excellent butcher, a large IGA supermarket, several dining out/take away options, a medical centre, post office and a pharmacy. Access to beach is easy and there is a lovely river walk from the beach to the main road.
