Heart of Haute-Saône

19th-century farmers' accommodation in the heart of the Haute-Saône village. Comtois furniture and parquet, fully equipped, Wi-Fi, internet TV. The accommodation is independent but is part of a building (in which I live) with, in common, water, heating and electricity. This may require me to enter the premises to remedy problems with these items. The space The living conditions of the peasants who built this house are not those of modern comforts that brought central heating as well as toilet, shower room of reduced dimensions. The bathroom (with the toilet) only has one vanity and shower; it is located on the ground floor, while a water point adjoins bedroom 1. A sofa bed can accommodate two additional people. We can provide baby equipment on request. Frileux abstain! because the central heating is undersized and the additional heaters do not work a miracle. The premises are not new; they are a little worn! During the winter, geraniums winter in the "living room". They sometimes give off a smell that is confused with that of urine by some. There is no television, but I put an old PC there that allows you to connect to "Molotov". The Wi-Fi is satisfactory (VDSL), the code is noted on the PC. It is possible that, despite the care taken in cleaning, there may be some hair from my overly sociable cat, as guests have let it in. Guest access You will note THAT THERE IS NO bathtub or swimming pool or bicycles or car, nor helicopter available; the television is via the Internet and a PC that is quite slow to react. But there is no noise nuisance either. The bathroom is small, the stairs are steep (but less than those of the original house). The living room benefits from the time delivered by the Comtoise clock (if it has been wound up). Other things to note The place is pleasant for its quiet little village center, independence and ease of communication by personal vehicle.
