Heart of Haute-Saône

19th century farmers' accommodation in the heart of the village of Haute-Saône. Comtois furniture and parquet, fully equipped, Wi-Fi, internet TV. The accommodation is independent but is part of a building (in which I live) with shared water, heating and electricity. This may require me to enter the premises to remedy problems with these items. The space The living conditions of the peasants who built this house are not those of modern comfort that brought central heating as well as toilets, the small bathroom. The bathroom (with toilet) has only a sink and a shower; it is located on the ground floor, while a water point is adjacent to bedroom 1. A sofa bed sleeps two extra people. On request, we can provide baby equipment. If you're sensitive to the cold, please refrain! Because the central heating is undersized and the auxiliary heaters do not do miracles. The places are not new; they are a little worn out! During the winter, geraniums overwinter in the "living room". They sometimes give off an odor that is confused with that of urine by some. There is no television, but I put an old PC there that allows you to connect to "Molotov". The Wi-Fi is satisfactory (VDSL), the code is noted on the PC. It is possible that, despite the care taken in the cleaning, there is still hair from my overly sociable cat, as some guests have let him in. Guest access You will note that there is NO bathtub, swimming pool, bicycles, car or helicopter available; the TV is Internet-based and the PC is quite slow to react. But THERE IS NO noise nuisance either. The bathroom is small, the stairs are steep (but less than those of the original house). The living room benefits from the time delivered by the Comtoise clock (if it has been wound up). Other things to note The place is pleasant for its calmness as a small village center, its independence and its ease of communication by personal vehicle.
