Earthen home in Managouli

The traditional stone house, consisting of three apartments, in the center of the village of Managouli, Dorida, is 2 km from the organized beach of Hiliadou, 3 km from the beach of Parathalasso and just 10 km from Nafpaktos. In the village you can do the basic shopping, drink your coffee and try the local cuisine in the taverns. Activities such as fishing, swimming and hiking as well as visits to the historical sites of the area are some of your many options. The space The location of the house is very favorable for tours by demanding holidaymakers looking for various forms of alternative tourism. For nature lovers who wish to combine their holidays with a return to nature or seek exercise along with recreation, the mountainous Nafpaktia and Dorida, is a paradise for such activities. Elia House is just 10 km from the beautiful castle town of Nafpaktos, whose long history is reflected in two great monuments that are essentially unified by their long walls: the lush Venetian castle and the Venetian port, one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean! In the eastern turret is the old naval lighthouse and the Fetih Mosque, of 1499. The walled marble slab reminds us of the famous naval battle of Nafpaktos, in 1571, which is revived every year on the first Sunday of October! On the western arm is the statue of the legendary fireman Giorgos Anemogiannis as well as the statue of the famous Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes and of course we should not miss the wonderful beaches of the city with the centuries-old broadleaf plane trees!! Just 2 km from the house is the organized, sandy beach of Chiliadou, 3 km away is Parathalasso with the white pebbles, the beautiful, traditional, amphitheatrically built village, Monastiraki, then Skaloma, Marathias, Sergoula beach and other small fishing villages with fantastic beaches and crystal clear waters. Trizonia, the only inhabited island of Corinth, is 25 km from the accommodation, has a beautiful natural harbor, a berth for luxury boats and sailboats. Along its coast, there are many traditional taverns, restaurants and cafes, to enjoy the enchanting landscape that lies before you! A few kilometers to the east, we find Galaxidi, narrow alleys climb from the port to the interior of the city and lead to alleys with well-kept houses, preserved mansions and impressive captains' houses with ornate pebbled courtyards, it retains the charm of the old days and is a quiet and romantic destination! Going uphill we meet Arachova, the other picturesque villages, the sacred site of Delphi, the Ski Center. Everything "rests" on the verdant Parnassus! To accommodate our guests with mobility difficulties, the ground floor apartment has a toilet support base, a flat shower, unobstructed access from the bedroom to the bathroom, as well as a free bath seat and a walker with wheels. Even from the covered private parking space to the entrance of the house there is a built ramp! There is also a large covered courtyard to enjoy your coffee and food!
