The Lake House

Nestled into the oldest rainforest in the world,The Lake House has the beautiful backdrop of Daintree National Rainforest and girthed by its stunning freshwater creeks, and situated on acreage only 8 mins from town and 12 mins from The Mossman Gorge, 5mins from Newell beach located near by for beachgoers. The Lake House has its own man made lake with all types of fish including pet barramundi that the kids will love to feed (no fishing!). It also has cattle and horses in the surrounding paddocks The space It also has its own private swimming hole down by the creek where you can just enjoy nature. The house has one Carport, Gym with cardio equipment, Sauna, large Entertaining BBQ area with Commercial Bar Fridge, Magnesium pool and Sun tanning deck. There are 4 individual large dog kennels with 7ft mesh fencing run cage available on request. No dogs to be off leash around animals or in House. House Consists of one large studio room with Queen Bed, Sofa Bed, Bathroom and Toilet, and Large plasma Betflix ready, with views of the lake. It also has another room with two single beds and one with a Queen bed all with use of another bathroom in house. House has large kitchen and sunken lounge/media room. House equipped with Wifi. Perfect getaway for a couple, group or families with access to both the Daintree and Port Douglas. Guest access We have two bedrooms locked off as the owner has personal belonging locked away . Other things to note Canoes will be supplied for use in the damn, and tubes for floating down the river. Food for Barramundi feeding is supplied, and cattle and horses are tame enough to be fed bread
