This condo is in an amazing location, right downtown within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, parks, library, movie theater, Cummins HQ, Visitors and Transportation Centers. Our condo is mid-century modern style meets traditional decor. The master bedroom is quite large with it’s own sitting area with two leather chairs and a 55” TV. The bathroom is en suite/attached with two sinks, a shower/deep tub and a full-size stacked washer and dryer. The new king size bed is a Tuft and Needle with an additional 3” thick cool memory foam topper. There is also a large walk-in closet, luggage rack and desk/table with two stools, but if you are going to be working, I’ll move the office chair in for you. We provide robes and slippers as well as plush cotton towels and any toiletries you might need. Guest have access to the common living area/kitchen as well as the balcony/deck and patio. We work from home so we are always available to help, give suggestions/directions or recommendations. We loving hosting and enjoy meeting and talking with people. However, we are also aware of the need for privacy and are happy to accommodate whatever level of interaction the guest prefers. We love that we are so close to so many things. We are a five minute walk to a juice bar, pizza place/brewery, 2 coffee shops and a diner. Walk 10 minutes and you can be on 4th Street where there is a movie theater, about 10 restaurants, ice cream, indoor playground, ATM and post office. The transportation center and Mill Race park are also 5 minutes. In the summer, May - August, is the Farmer's Market, just a block away. It runs Saturdays, 9-noon. Really there is nothing downtown Columbus that you can't walk to in 10-15 minutes. The transportation center is just two blocks and the cost is a whopping $.25! There is plenty of street parking, too. We have a wonderful friendly dog, but he will definitely bark on your arrival - that's his job! :^) He is quick to settle down, though, and you won't notice him within a few minutes. Because of this wonderful downtown location, we have the "downtown" noises to contend with, mostly the occasional train or siren. Typically, it is very quiet at night, but again, a train may go by and they do blow the whistle! Scott loves breakfast, so expect to be fed well in the morning. It might be large hummingbird muffins, cinnamon rolls, waffles or my "famous" banana pancakes. If you are more the toast, granola or oatmeal-type, we can accommodate that, too. Almost all will include fresh fruit, though. Scott loves coffee and Christi loves her tea, so we have you covered either way!
