Description
Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us. The space A long winding driveway brings you to the guesthouse. The property is 165 acres of pasture and woodland. Cows graze the pastures in summer. The pond is a magnet for wildlife. Beavers live 50 m from the back window. Herons, ducks and geese are summer residents. Wild turkeys, deer, porcupines, skunks, raccoons, and an occasional otter come and go. Our guest house features a bright spacious loft with a king-sized bed and beautiful views overlooking our farm and pond. The main floor offers a pullout queen sized sofa, sitting area and dining space. A small kitchen is equipped with small fridge, cook top, microwave, toaster oven, and dishes. The lowest level has a bathroom with a shower, deep soaker tub and sauna. The patio features a fire pit and outdoor bathtub. We love welcoming folks to our guest house and we hope you enjoy your stay! Guest access Please feel free to explore the property.
