Renovated in 2006/7 this beautiful family chalet is one of Zermatt's best kept secrets. Accessed by it's own private tele cabin, it is situated in a elevated position with amazing views of the Matterhorn. Although in tranquil surroundings it is only a 5 min walk to the Klein Matterhorn departure station and the village center. Beautifully decorated and furnished, this well equipped chalet also boasts a sauna and relaxation area, perfect after skiing. The gardens can be enjoyed in all seasons. The space Set in a beautiful elevated position, with uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn this chalet is one of Zermatt's best kept secrets. It is in tranquil surroundings where the wildlife roam freely but still only a 5 minute walk to the Klein Matterhorn departure station and to the village center. The chalet comprises 5 double bedrooms ( 3 with en-suite bathrooms) and a 6th bedroom with bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom and a separate W/C. The spacious lounge has a large wood-burning fireplace, ample seating for 12 people and is equipped with a plasma TV, DVD, CD/Radio and wireless internet connection. This room overlooks the terrace with its beautiful gardens and views of the Matterhorn. Separated from the lounge by glass doors is the dining area with seating for 12 people. The modern, very well equipped kitchen adjoins the dining area. There is also a tropicarium sauna downstairs with an adjoining relaxation area. During the winter season the Chalet is let on a 7 night minimum stay with a Sunday changeover day. Guest access The chalet is let in its' entirety, including the gardens and its' own private tele cabin. Other things to note The chalet is listed as self-catered and this is reflected in the rates given. We are happy to offer the chalet fully catered during the winter season and can give quotes for this upon request. The catered rate would include a Continental and/or full English breakfast prepared by the chef each morning. Afternoon tea with homemade cakes is provided daily for you when you return to the chalet. A 5 course dinner is served for you 5 evenings a week, along with pre dinner drinks and canapes and coffee and after dinner drinks. All beverages are included throughout your stay if you choose to be fully catered so please contact us if you would like a quote.
