Our much loved cottage is in one of the most beautiful villages in West Sussex - Lodsworth. Our home is at the heart of village life with an award winning shop, pub, tennis court, playing fields and hall. 15 minutes to Goodwood and all it has to offer, 5 minutes to Cowdray with world class polo and an amazing golf course. There is something for every sporting and lifestyle passion including golf, South Downs walks and cycling, racing, and motorsport and the beach is 25 minutes from us. The space Lodsworth is an award winning village in West Sussex with the beautiful South Downs within touching distance and lots to do for all ages. It is only 50 miles from London and 45 minutes from Gatwick and Heathrow so it makes it easy to welcome UK and international guests. Recent review - August 2021 We booked this house for my 40th birthday getaway. 2 nights away with friends staying here - outstanding. Vanessa the property owner is just fab, and answers all questions before we arrived. The house is amazing and we felt at home, when we arrived. I just wish we stayed for longer! We took our two dogs which had a lovely time running around in the large gardens. Each room the house have something to offer and the bedrooms are fabulous. The beds are very comfy and it has a lovely relaxed feeling around the house. This property has such a family feel and we instantly felt relaxed. The location is perfect! There’s a pub opposite, but you need to book way in advance if there’s more than four of you. The outside spaces were great, especially the pavilion- where we had our dinner both evenings. I would definitely recommend staying here and we’ll be back to experience this beautiful house again and the surrounding areas. Guest access You can access all of the property and gardens - it is for you to enjoy. Other things to note There is a gorgeous cat called Leo who lives outside. He loves dogs and people. This is our much loved home but please do ask if you need anything extra to make your stay more special.
