While at Batanes, you'll soon discover why tourists flock to Savatan Homestay and extend a day or two. The scenic view of Mount Iraya isn't bad either. ~ Savatan Homestay is walking distance or a tricycle's ride away from the airport, church, plaza, beach, and Basco Lighthouse. You'll find it convenient that it's a couple of steps to Philippine National Bank (PNB) and ATM. The space ~ Located on the 2ND FLOOR, your room boasts a view that no other homestay can compete with. Whether you're a solo traveler (please book our solo room: Savatan Homestay: Solo w/ Bfast Private AC & T&B) or with your favorite travel buddies/family members, you'll find Savatan Homestay a real gem considering that all of your needs will be met. ~ (1) DOUBLE-sized and (2) SINGLE-sized beds await you and your family or friends. Each bedroom comes with its own private bathroom, complete with a hot and cold shower. After spending the entire day outside, you'll want to come home, refresh with a hot shower and snuggle into those inviting covers. Feel free to watch your favorite channel on cable tv. ~ Once booked, you will have the assigned room to yourselves so that means absolutely no SHARING with other guests. Please take note that the common areas like the balcony, living and dining areas will be shared with other guests. It's the perfect place to make friends with others. Guest access ~ Catch the stunning sunset out on the veranda where you'll find the best view of Mount Iraya. Catch up on the latest events while watching the tv on the lazy chair found in the living area. You can even take a brisk walk out in the spacious garden after a heavy meal. ~ The kitchen is temporarily closed for guests so no cooking for now. We are setting up a separate kitchen for the guests. Refill your glasses/bottles using the water dispenser. ~ Still not convinced? Other things to note These are the travel requirements tourists need to prepare for when traveling to Batanes: 1. DOT-accredited accommodation 2. DOT-accredited tour operator 3. Vaccination card or digital copy of VaxCertPH-issued 4. Vaccination Certificate 5. Approved S-Pass 6. Certificate of Acceptance; to be issued by the PTO via email upon submission of requirements The following limitations shall be observed as Batanes gradually reopens from May 15 to June 30, 2022: 1. Only fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed entry 2. Tourists aged 5 and below are not eligible to enter the province, including those who aren’t fully vaccinated 3. A maximum of 50 tourists per week shall be allowed during the trial period 4. DIY tourists are not allowed. Tourists must book from a DOT-accredited operator, PGB tour guide, and stay at a DOT-accredited accommodation. 5. Guests of national agencies or private APORs whose itineraries include tours or leisure activities after their official business must also book a tour package from a local tour operator. A Certificate of Acceptance shall be issued by the office of the Governor. PLEASE READ!!! ~ Airport transfers will be provided by the tour operator ~ COMPLIMENTARY daily breakfast ~ Towels, soaps, and sanitation kits are provided ~ Rate shown is good for 2pax only. Additional PHP500/pax/night after the 2nd pax. Maximum of 4pax. Please input the correct number of pax so that you'll be charged accordingly. ~ Room is subject to availability. If it's not available, we'll recommend you to other rooms that are available. ~ Please respect the check-in and check-out times of the homestay. The bedroom and restroom need to be cleaned for incoming guests as well. Just in case the assigned room is still being cleaned, you can utilize the common areas of our homestay or you may leave your luggage first and explore the town on foot. TOURS!!! ~ It is mandatory to secure tours from an accredited tour operator. We can connect you with a DOT-accredited tour agency that provides private tour packages via van or cogon tricycle. They are charged separately from the accommodation. Please inquire ahead of reservation dates (at least 2 weeks before) so we can secure a tour for you as early as possible. INTERNET!!! ~ Not all accommodations offer Wi-Fi. Cellphone signal is intermittent at times. Smart's LTE is up and working. However, it may be a tad difficult for Globe users though :( ~ For those dependent on internet usage, I would recommend bringing a Smart pocket Wi-Fi but please don't expect the connection to be stable compared to the mainland.
