Other things to note Albenga is a pretty seaside town with a charming historic center that hides corners of history and artifacts from the Roman era. It's nice to see the many restaurants and typical clubs between one alley and another or to be lucky enough to dine in front of the cathedral listening to a classical music concert. It is worth stopping in the historic "Puppo" pizzeria to enjoy an amazing Ligurian farinata as well as excellent typical local dishes (booking is absolutely recommended). Visit the “Sommariva” oil mill, adjacent to the walls, which offers a wide choice of typical local products e.g. Centa caviar and Taggiasca olives as well as excellent extra virgin olive oil. 300 meters from the apartment is a municipal swimming pool open year-round where swimming lessons and water fitness activities are organized. For those who want a little worldliness or a day of shopping, you can visit Alassio, reachable by car (15 minutes) or train (5 minutes). A 15-minute drive away is the Garlenda Golf Club, an 18-hole course. Also a 12-minute drive away is the Go Kart track, at the underground parking lot of the Multiplex cinema. Albenga is easily reachable by highway (Albenga exit), by train (about 45 minutes from Savona). It is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Nice airport and 1 hour from Genoa airport.
