Cozy Cottage in Corris

Isfryn is a cosy semi detached former slate miners cottage, located on the edge of Corris. Corris is a small rural village with a village shop, cafe, pub and church. The cottage is traditionally furnished with wooden floors and beams, log burners in the sitting room and kitchen. Outside to the front is a raised sitting area with wonderful views over the Dulas Valley. To the rear is a small yard and to the side a log and bike shed. Travel cot, high chair, baby bath and fire guard are available. The space Isfryn is of original architecture, both external and internal stairs are steep and the front patio is raised; so that young children require constant supervision to ensure their safety. Additional heating via oil filled electric heaters. Free car parking on road or in the village car park. Living: Enter via a front stable door. Within the living area is a Woodwarm wood burner, sofa, armchair, flat screen and Smart TV. WiFi code accessible within cottage. Cooking and Eating: In the kitchen diner is Woodwarm Wood burner, table, four chairs, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine Sleeping: Upstairs to the front a double bedroom with views over the Dulas valley. Double bed and Victorian bedroom suite. Hairdryer. To the rear a bunk room with pine wardrobe. Bathing: Bath with electric over shower with screen, electric fan heater. Towels supplied, please bring own beach towels. Outside: Raised patio to front with bench to sit and enjoy views. To rear small yard small yard with gate leading to back lane. Small utility housing tumble dryer. To side of cottage shed/wood/bike store, feel free to use anything within. Accessibility: The entrance and exit to the front is via twelve steep, uneven steps. Entrance and exit via the rear is also via steep, uneven steps. The internal stairs are of original architecture and are steep and narrow with a 90 degree turn at the top. Therefore the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility, please contact me if unsure. Pets: Well behaved dogs are welcome, as Isfryn is a small cottage we would recommend one large dog or two small to medium dogs only. Whilst there is no garden there are many walks directly from the cottage. Minimum of three night stay. Sorry we only take week bookings during July and school holidays.
