Woodside Home-stay. Room No. 1.

Woodside Homestay is located in the midst of our organic coffee and pepper plantation. It is adjacent to the forest and an excellent place to spot all kinds of wildlife. An excellent place for nature lovers. It is located at a height of around 3000' above mean sea level. The climate is lovely. The nearest Airport is Kozhikode (Calicut). The place can be accessed either from Calicut on one side, from Mysore or from Coorg, in Karnataka. The space Wayanad District is a lovely Hilly District of Kerala and has some good places to visit. We have wild life sanctuary, waterfalls, lovely gardens, and one world heritage site. Woodside is located adjacent to The Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. It is within 13 kms of the city of Sultan Bathery. One can on any day observe wild deer, a lot of Forest birds, the giant Malabar squirrel and several wildlife. Guest access Guests are free to move around all open spaces of the property. The stay, is located in the midst of a 20 acre organic coffee estate. The property is a haven for nature lovers, for bird watchers/photographers, biologists. During your stay I am available to the guests for socializing, for discussions questioning. I live on the premises and the guests could approach me at any time. Other things to note Guests are free to enjoy the place, but should not go out in the farm at night as one may come across wild animals like elephants or leopard or wild boars. Pets are allowed but must not be left out, as they may fall prey to any passing leopard.
