If you’re looking for relaxation, privacy, and a chance to truly enjoy the beauty of the desert, the Guest House has just what you seek. One room cabin with patio, perfect size for individuals or couples, and provides a lovely, secluded retreat. The space Stroll down the flagstone walkway past the shaded hammock area through the limestone rock archway into the first courtyard. The cottage is up some stairs to your right. It is a one room structure with a queen-sized bed, desk, kitchen table w/ chairs, stove with oven, large fridge and small sink with windows everywhere. It now has a brand-new split system for air-conditioning and heat. As you turn to go back through the door, you catch ahold of the view of the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. You descend the stairs back into the courtyard, and find a wonderful handmade fireplace, a large dining table, an outdoor shower (with great hot water) and a large kitchen sink with large counters for an outdoor kitchen. If you walk through the next archway you come to the third courtyard: to your right is a breakfast table surrounded by rock and greenery and wood, and to your left, a pergola with a full-sized bed (in case you want to sleep outside) and a great view of the Chisos in the daytime, and the Milky Way at night! Keep going through the small, tall garden of chili and flowers and watermelons (depending on the season) to the bathroom. It is up 3 steps and includes a tub, a sink and a toilet, and Moroccan light fixtures. This property is on the north side of the Ghost Town, so it's quiet and private here, but you have your own view and can walk easily through the ruins to The Starlight Theater or to the Ghost Town for coffee or shopping. Other things to note Please do not bring your dogs or pets. We welcome children, but parents be aware the space has rock stairs, porches without bannisters and lots of cacti! We have a NEMA 1450R, 50 amp, 220 volt, receptacle here at the hotel now, so you can charge your electric vehicle. Please bring your own adapter. $40 for an overnight charge.
