‘Hill Top’ Farm Stay is a unique experience for holiday makers. The Tiny House offers the combination of creature comforts of a boutique glamping experience alongside the beauty of the great outdoors. A special feature of ‘Hill Top’ is the wrap around window that allows for spectacular views during the day and the exceptional experience of sleeping under the stars at night. The space At ‘Hill Top’ you will be overwhelmed with the sense of space. In just about every direction you will encounter impressive and dramatic views of our little corner of the world. There are 3 dwellings on the property. Situated behind the main house you have the Tiny House all to yourself. You are welcome to explore the 60acre property with the sheep tracks making good walking tracks. You will find all the creature comforts inside the Tiny House such as a double bed, two burner gas stove, kettle, toaster and bar fridge . The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans and utensils. We have upgraded the electrics at Hill Top. Aside from the solar powered lights we have installed power from the grid. You will have access to power points and a Reverse Cycle. Once you have warmed up or cooled down we ask that the Reverse Cycle is turned off. Please do not run the Reverse Cycle while you are out or over night. The seperate bathroom offers a composting toilet. Cold running water in the sink and a instant gas hot water shower. We only have a 1000litre tank so you will need to be careful with your water usage. Guest access ‘Hill Top’ Tiny House is situated on 60acres of a working Sheep Farm 4 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne. To access the property you will need to drive up a steep-ish dirt driveway. There is a 5 minute drive into the Township of Buchan. Here you will find a Roadhouse, General Store and the Buchan Caves Hotel - a very popular watering hole. Buchan is well known for its limestone caves. Before your stay I would suggest going booking a Caves tour online through Parks Vic. Other things to note Please note, there is a fire pit outdoors (for use in colder months) this can be used as a BBQ. You will Need to provide your own firewood, fire lighters and matches.
