Cozy accommodation for 4 adults, or for a smaller family. Couple's cottage of 34 m2. Hot air pump with air conditioning installed in 2023. Comfortable on hot days. The cottage has an open floor plan with living room and kitchen. The kitchen is extra-equipped. There is a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, rice cooker, etc. Drying rack is available. Two bedrooms with 120 cm beds downstairs and 90 cm upstairs. Bathroom with shower and drying cabinet. Free Wi-Fi and Smart TV. Pet-friendly. 2024 smaller patio completed with bench. The space Your own accommodation where you check in and out on your own. The code for the key cabinet is obtained some day before arrival. The key box is at the front door. You check out by taking a picture of your departure cleaning, sending the pictures to me and putting the key back in the key box. Outside the cottage there is a bench, if you want to enjoy breakfast/lunch/dinner outdoors. You have access to the ski locker (at the front door), key with key holder hangs on the hat shelf. We have an extra-equipped kitchen with baking and pie dishes, with extra dessert bowls, champagne glasses, shot glasses, and extra cutlery and plates for increased comfort during the holiday. The dishwasher is under the refrigerator, don't forget the dishwasher tablets. In Stöten we sort at the source, food waste is placed in the brown food waste bins and glass in the glass recycling. Other waste in the containers (sheet metal and plastic recycling at the reception in Stöten). Bags for food waste are in the shed by the parking lot. Pets are allowed, it is important that guests with dogs/cats bring their own bed that the dog/cat can lie on. No animals on the furniture without their own blanket. No pets are allowed in the beds. The location of the cottage provides proximity to mountain landscape with hiking, fishing and berry picking in Stöten and the surrounding area. The Elljusspåret trail and trail center are about 150 meters from the cabin. There are many nice trails to walk on (3 km, 5 km and 7.5 km). If you want to hike up the mountain, you can follow the snowmobile trail, which runs on the left side of Mormors Störtlopp, up the hill. Once up, you can walk the cleared trail to the left, then you will come out on the Kungsleden. If you follow Kungsleden north (to the left again), you will eventually come to a gravel road. The gravel road leads back (go left again) to Stöten (goes along the Görälven river). Kungsleden continues across the road, across the marsh and river and out to Grundforsen, then on to Fulufjället National Park where Njupeskärsfallet is located, it is 80 km. The hiking trails in Fulufjället National Park are easily accessible. Cycling in Rörbäcksnäs (30 km away) is a very popular destination, cycling in Lindvallen as well. Many people go to Stöten because of the fishing. The fly fishing area in Görälven is well known to fly fishermen. It's a little bit downstream. Fly fishing and regular fishing in Görälven are also popular, where you can catch mainly trout and grayling. The river is 1.5-2 km from the cabin. Fishing permits are sold at Stöten Camping. They also have fishing equipment there. Stöten Camping has this year built a new Put & Take lake. Price SEK 200, then you can catch three fish. They also offer a range of other activities. See their website for info. Other things to note Stöten's reception is open Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., from 6/23 to 8/15 2025. There you can buy ice cream or something nice from the Stöten assortment. Go to stotencamping In the mountains, the water in the water pipes is really cold. This means that condensation is formed around the pipes for the water on the way into the cottages. The condensation finds its way up to the toilet, water forms around the toilet. There are rags in the cleaning cabinet to wipe up, if condensation forms. This happens especially when it is hot or cold outside. So there is no leakage in the toilet but a normal phenomenon in the toilets in all cottages in the mountains. Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels are not included in the rent, nor is toilet paper. Each guest takes care of this themselves.
