A walkable flat area, but also steps away from great hiking and biking. This is a one room unit with hardwood floors, 1 king sized bed, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and table for 2, bathroom with shower. This studio is a ground level unit in a 3 unit building with a separate entrance. Flat screen TV and DVD player, wireless internet access and parking provided. Pack and play crib available upon request. (NOTE: we are in the process of remodeling so the photos don’t exactly match but the actual place will be better and we are waiting for final touches to retake the photos) It's perfect for parents visiting their children/grandchildren in the area, or for wedding guests attending the Outdoor Art Club. With nice linens, plush towels, it's much more welcoming and homey than a hotel room. Easy driving access to San Francisco sight-seeing, and to beautiful Marin scenery and wildlife. 15 minutes to the Muir Woods National Monument old growth redwood forest, and to beautiful Muir Beach. 5 minute drive to Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1 3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking nearby and kayaking tours of the bay available in Sausalito. 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito - explore stores in charming downtown Mill Valley, or walk by the bay on the Sausalito marina. There are ferries to SF leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur. A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore. The unit on the ground floor (no stairs) of a 2 story, 3 unit building. The backyard is not available for use because full-time tenants have exclusive use of it. There is someone living upstairs so please be awrare you may hear footsteps above when they are home. Street parking is limited to 2 hours from 9AM-6PM daily in the neighborhood. Unlimited street parking is available 1 1/2 blocks away. Sorry, no pets allowed. We also require a $75 cleaning fee for the studio for every reservation.
