The 1950s cane cutters Barracks looks the same outside but inside it has become a comfortable modern guest wing to the 1920s farmhouse. On the top floor, there are two ensuite rooms with queen beds, and a third room with two single beds which has a bathroom downstairs. There is a living room and limited kitchenette (no oven or cooktop). Luxury on your own, or up to six together. There are breezy decks all around, with great views over the cane fields, set in the midst of a working farm. The space The kitchenette has a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and fridge with filtered water dispenser. There is no oven but there is a small 2 place cooktop. Guest access Guests are welcome to stroll and rest around the barracks grounds. The laneway past the house is a public road leading to pleasant strolls along Shark Creek if you like a long walk. However, this is a working farm and guests should seek advice before approaching any machinery or working area, or entering any sheds or farm buildings. Other things to note Some breakfast ingredients are available in the kitchenette. Help yourself. Ingredients include muesli and cereal, milk, tea, coffee. Registration Details PID-STRA-2682
