The space The 3 bedrooms have luxury mattresses, spa linens, bathrobes and quality towels. The 2 bathrooms have everything you need plus laundry facilities. The kitchen is fully outfitted with new appliances and culinary tools for any level of cooking. The living area is open concept with expansive ocean and mountain views, then cozy up at a soapstone fireplace. Entertain yourself with a smart TV and a Sonos sound system, or play games on the lawn or at the dining room table. The large dining room table seats 8, and the couch and sofa chairs look out of the bay windows to Mt. Arrowsmith and Baynes Sound. The deck is made for warm summer evening relaxation with a BBQ and patio dining set. Patio lounges will provide the perfect spot to read a good summer book, or to take a snooze to the sounds of the ocean and birds. The house is located on 5 acres, is surrounded by big trees, and is on a beach that allows for long walks, swimming and excellent bird watching. You will enjoy peace and quiet at this very private location. Memories will be created on your vacation by viewing eagles, heron, sea birds, sea lions and the occasional Orca from the large oceanside deck. The region offers many tourist activities, and both Denman and Hornby Islands are a centre of hiking, biking, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and wildlife viewing. Other things to note Check out the BC Ferries website for sailing times from Buckley Bay to Denman Island. It is recommended that you plan to take the ferry early, or later in the day after 6 pm when travelling during the high season. In high season, from Monday to Friday, there are 2 ferries running. It is recommended you buy most groceries on Vancouver Island as shopping is limited to: the Petrocan and Weinbergs at Buckley Bay Ferry Terminal; the Denman Island General Store; the Saturday morning Farmers Market - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm; and the Two Roads Farm Gate Stand.
