Shepherds Hut Hideway!

Fancy a short break from the everyday? Why not get back to basics in this beautiful hand made shepherds hut located in the heart of the beautiful Kentish countryside? The space Set in 12 acres of beautiful Kentish countryside. This beautiful hut was designed and hand built on our family farm, it gives you a unique experience of living as our shepherds once would have done, albeit with the luxury of modern day life! So why not try a bit of 'glamping'? The hut has a fully functional kitchen, with hot and cold water to the sink, electric hob, combination microwave/oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. Plates, cutlery, pots and pans are all supplied. A small inbuilt table and two stools provide you with space to indulge in any tasty meals you have rustled up in the kitchen. Heating is provided from an electric heater situated in the kitchen plinth. A comfortable double bed to rest after a long day, with storage beneath to tuck away your suitcases. Bed linen provided. There is a small wall mounted TV with inbuilt freeview. A DVD player can also be found in the kitchen cupboard for those of you that fancy a chilled evening in. A separate toilet and shower room can be found on the side of the double garage in front of your parking space, towels provided. Guests also have the use of a small bistro table and chairs for those nights when you fancy a bit of alfresco dinning. Guest access Guests have an allocated parking space and exclusive use of a toilet and shower room built into the side of an oak framed garage. By prior arrangement guests can organise to set up their own tents, perhaps to allow you to bring children with you. As well as this please feel free to make any other requests and I will endeavour to help! Perhaps you would like to visit the lambing shed or see the combining in action! Other things to note Please be aware you will be staying in the countryside! The hut is located in a field, so please take the weather conditions into consideration and bring appropriate footwear. For any supplies you may need, there is a community store located in Smarden, next to the Charter Hall, also a small Sainsburys Local can be found in the village of Headcorn 3 miles away and is open until 10pm daily. Tenterden, 15 minutes away, has a Waitrose and Tesco.
