Etno House Stanojevic is an ideal vacation home that brings you authentic charm and magic of Eastern Serbia. Thanks to the love Zika Stanojevic had for his homeland and its past made it possible for him to preserve his birth-house and protect it from being forgotten. The space The "Stanojevic" etno house is located in Boljevac in eastern Serbia in the valley of the Crni Timok River in Timok region, dwelling among mountain ranges of the Kucaj Mountains, Mt.Rtanj and Mt.Tupiznica. Etno House Stanojevic offers 4 bedrooms, 8 beds, a kitchen, bathroom, TV and free internet. There is a historical museum within the household, containing traditional items and handcrafts which revive memories, turning you 500 years back to the rich history of the Balkans, which is also used as a dining room. The visitors are free to use the swiming pool in the back yard as well as a football pitch, basketball court and childrens playground comprising a slide, a teeter, swings etc. Above the house, on the top of the nearby hill, there is so~called "Vidikovac" giving the visitors breath~taking view on Mountain Rtanj and offering panorama over the whole town of Boljevac. Summer house is for the lovers of a stroll and those who prefer to spend time outside in the country. It can be also used for organizing picnics, particularly for those visitors who are keen of making barbecue, roast meat on a skewer, cook in a fish pot and many other things. Guests can either alone or with the assistance of the housekeepers ~ visit piramid of Mountain Rtanj and clim to the very top. During summer months it is possible to go Rtanj tea picking. ~ visit and enjoz the charm of one the most beautiful caves in Serbia, i.e. Bogovina cave. ~ visit plenty of curtural~historical monuments, as well as the site of the well of the Crni Timok River, so caled "Vrelo" (in English "Springhead") in the vilage of Krivi Vir, not far away from the town of Boljevac, ~ visit churches and monasteries, e.g. the Krepicevac Monastery, ruins of Lapusnja Monastery, the Church of Holy Mother, etc. ~ visit the ancient Roman villa Felix Romuliana, ~ go fishing or even picking herbs. It is also possible to buy home~made products such are milk, cheese, brandy (Serbian "rakija") at veryreasonable price. Guest access Guests have access to a complete accommodation with all the accompanying amenities, such as the Museum of Old Traditional Things and the Crafts of Serbian Historical Heritage, which feels a revival of the past of over 500 years of the rich history of the Balkan, an open seasonal pool, a basketball court, a small football field, a children's playroom (swings, seashells, slides…), and a lot of other things.
