Casa del Poggio, with a beautiful sea view

The Casa del Poggio (house at the hill) is located in the hills of Castagneto Carducci and is part of our organic farm. It is immersed in a peaceful countryside surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and woodland and enjoys a beautiful view of the sea and the castle of Castagneto Carducci. At the same time its position allows you to reach the village in just 10 minutes by foot and the beaches of Marina di Castagneto in 10 minutes by car or bus. The space The 100 sqm apartment is located on the raised ground floor with a terrace facing the countryside and woods to the east and a garden and terrace facing the sea and the village to the west. It consists of kitchen / living room with mezzanine, bathroom and two bedrooms with two beds each and both with French doors opening to the garden. In one room there is the possibility to add a double sofa bed, in the other room there is a cot. Guest access The house is accessed directly from the main asphalted road, 800 m from the village of Castagneto Carducci towards Sassetta / Monteverdi, at the entrance of the municipal road of Segalari. The house consists of two apartments, one of which is on the first floor and is inhabited by Marcel, a Dutch gardener. The garden is totally at your disposal; you can take beautiful walks to the village, in the surrounding countryside and in the grounds of the house where there is a high panoramic point from which you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. Other things to note On request we gladly provide a breakfast basket with bread and cake made by us from ancient organic grains, our fresh organic fruit, jams made by us and our honey. Your four-legged friends are welcome. In winter the apartment is heated with both gas central heating and two wood burning stoves. Being an old house that is not perfectly insulated, the temperature in the house remains between 18 degrees at night and in the afternoon and 20 degrees in the morning and evening.
