This home is located in a very special setting. Most vacation homes on the street are set far back from the river. This home is closer yet higher which allows perhaps the best views of any vacation home in Scottsburg. You can fish directly from our landing at the bottom of the stairs or access the river from the bottom of steps on low tide. Home has 3 very spacious bedrooms king size bed in master which is downstairs the 2nd bedroom upstairs has two queen and a futon and the third bedroom with river view has a king bed with a futon. Home has hardwood flooring in most areas with granite counters, large kitchen with all modern amenities. Home has Wi-Fi internet, DVD player with DVD movie library in living room. Home has soundproof game room with regulation ping pong table for additional entertainment. Home is handicap accessible with large covered side ramp allows you to enter side door of home and downstairs bathroom has handicap shower. The best views are in the dinning room, family room, game room and from 3rd bedroom upstairs which faces river. The upstairs of home has a retro 60s feel with all wood paneling with that original cabin feel. Property is very large. It has a large flat paved driveway with areas to park up to 8 cars or trucks and room on grassy area next to garage for trailer or boat or ? We do not have a dock however we have a wonderful set of stairs that take you right down to the river. Our section of the river is more shallow which is great for swimming and wading. The deep section of the river is on the other side of the river near highway 38.Two Kayaks available for you entire stay, It takes two people to carry them up or down the stairs to river .
