However, in order to have a great stay at my place, I recommend having a car or use a taxi to get around and to get to Dublin BART station that connects to all Bay Area public train stations and attractions. —About the Neighborhood -Livermore has a small town ambience with a cozy and small downtown with cafes, bars, restaurants and specialty stores. 3 miles away from home. -Within walking distance of home, you have a neighborhood shopping strip that has grocery store, fast food, coffee shop, etc. -Within walking / biking distance, we have Livermore Labs, vineyards, and wine tasting opportunities. -Our neighborhood is one of the prestigious and safe neighborhoods —with caring neighbors; we are friendly, look out for each other and share fruits that grow in our backyards. -I have a bike you can use for an extra $25 per month (less than $1 a day). There are public buses with stops near by. Livermore has an ACE train station within walking / biking distance, you can take your bike on the train with you. Also nearby Dublin BART train station connects you to many San Francisco Bay Area attractions. -Within a few minutes drive, we have access to lovely walking trails, mountains and Lake Del Valle Marina that offers many recreational opportunities including boat rentals, camping, hiking, picnic areas, etc.
