Our jewel-box studio has been designed with upmost attention to details to serve as a petite retreat after a long day of sightseeing or work in the Bay Area. It's conveniently located only a few blocks away from Lake Merritt and with very easy access to SF. It has been equipped with a spacious shower with potent water pressure and a comfortable bed with luxury bedding and towels. It is located in a quite street were you'll be able to rest and restore your energy for the next day. The space We designed or listings not only with magazine worthy aesthetics, but also aiming to provide a 5-stars-hotel comfort levels. El Refugio is a cozy space where we have taken advantage of every inch, so no amenity is missing. You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchenette where you, according to your preference, can cook a full meal or warm up your take out food. It also has a functional work space and a high definition TV with all possible entertainment available. The bathroom is a mini heavenly spa packed with adorable decor and useful details. The courtyard is an outdoor space also destined and designed for your enjoyment. It certainly adds up to square footage that we put to your service and benefit. There is no way you will not fall in love with El Refugio. Guest access Once arrive at 1646 7th Ave. and enter the gate you’ll be in the driveway. You will see a rustic wooden door to your left with a sign that reads “El Nido”. Please pull the black metal handle and direct yourself all the way to the back. You will stop at the only metal door to your right with a sign that reads “El Refugio.” That’s the studio. Two red lunge, patio chairs and a bistro table with yellow dining chairs are there for you both to enjoy while you stay at the property and to indicate you are in the right spot of the house. Key to the jewel-box studio (lockbox) The lockbox to the left of the security gate contains the only key to both the security gate and the actual entry door (the second key you’ll see in the box is just a backup copy; please leave it there at all times). I gave you detail instructions on how to operate the lockbox in the welcoming message I sent you after accepting your request for booking. I also texted you your individualized entry code. The Airbnb platform also has instructions with pictures in the “guests’ resources section.” Other things to note Please, be mindful of long-term tenants residing in the building.
