We live in St George, a mid-sized town located in SW Utah, on the border with Nevada and Arizona. It's in the heart of big sky America, 40 miles from Zion National Park, 140 miles from both Bryce and Grand Canyon, and with virtually limitless climbing, hiking and biking opportunities on the doorstep. Our house is 0.5 miles from downtown St George, 3 blocks from the St. George LDS Temple and just a few minutes from Highway 15. There is ample street parking around the house. Our house is a 1930s white cottage, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a separate guest house attached. It has lots of quaint charm, but with newly renovated kitchens and bathrooms, it's also got all the luxury you need. It's a corner property, so guests have access to their own front yard with big old trees for shade, and a front porch complete with double-rocking chair. This listing is for the main part of the house - we live in the self-contained guest property at the back of the cottage. Its the two of us, and two super friendly pups, a Goldendoodle and black lab. The two units are completely separate and self-contained, so as our guest, you can enjoy as much privacy as you want, while still having us on-hand for local knowledge. We live 5-10 minutes by foot from the center of St George for local drinks and eateries, and a short drive or bike ride to dozens of trailheads for hiking, climbing and biking. The kitchen, living room and dining room of the main house are solely for guests to use - we live in the self-contained 'casita' attached to the main house. Other things to note Both bedrooms in the cottage have full-sized beds. We supply all linens and towels. Both bedrooms (and one bathroom) are located on the second floor. The second bedroom of the cottage is a curious L-shaped room, so to make maximum use of the space, we have installed a custom built bed in the 'L'. This means there is no side access to the bed, so if you have any mobility issues, this might pose a problem. Please see the house pictures to make sure this set-up will work for you.
