Walk to the More Mesa Beach

Comfy, quiet single room with double bed, for one person. Private bath, Wi-fi. Desk & chair. Internet free, but please no huge downloads. Quiet hours 10 pm- 8 am. Walk along bluffs to beach. Convenient to town, UCSB bike trail. Free Parking. Morning coffee. Resident sweet kitty. No smoking/vaping inside/out. Rate Includes 12% County bed tax + $4.40 tourism fee/night. One security cam for driveway. Keyless self check-in, but I usually greet guests at first arrival. Host may request ID. The space Private room and your own private bath, in a quiet, non-smoking environment. We are located in the quiet area between the city of Santa Barbara, and Goleta (UCSB), with easy access to either, and a nearby bike path to both directions. There are many beaches in the area and More Mesa Beach is a nice walk across the mesa to the bluffs and down to the beach. There is free high-speed wi-fi , desk and desk chair. Comfortably complete your work or browse the internet. One security cam for driveway. Guest access Guests have limited access to kitchen, dining room and patio for relaxing. There's a coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven (for toast only) available to prep small breakfast/lunch items. Cooking is limited to warming up food items, making coffee/tea, salad, sandwiches, and such, (No frying, baking, boiling, steaming). During your stay I like to allow guests their privacy, with friendly greetings the norm, and I happily provide information on Santa Barbara and Goleta points of interest, if asked, and they are included in the guidebooks in the room. There are numerous maps and guidebooks in the room for guest's use. Other things to note If you've been walking on the beach, please check shoes for oil/tar from seeps and leave them outside or in the entry. If you walked barefoot, I can provide baby oil and cloths to clean your feet. Wipe oil off so you don't slip when coming inside. Just shaking your shoes doesn't get rid of the sand that abrades hardwood flooring, so please remove shoes in carport if you've been to the beach. Thanks for being gracious to adhere to these rules. Please NO 'flushable' wipes into the toilet - please use small disposal bags provided and put into trash. I empty the bathroom trash regularly. Late arrivals after 9:30 p.m. generally not accepted. Please ask if this is needed due to late international flight, and I'll try to accommodate.
