Pahau Downs Farm B&B Stay

The farm is 5500 acres Sheep & Beef station, giving guests the chance to get a real feel for NZ. The cottage is self-contained,well decorated, guests are able to relax, enjoy a Farm Tour, free with two nights BBQ, Pool, Spa. DUE TO COVID Dinner service is not available. The Minimum night setting is two but if you would like to contact us, to see if we can help with your travel arrangements. We will do one night on request. The space The cottage is self contained so the guests can feel totally private. Continental breakfast is provided. Those guests who would like to have Dinner are able to do so with twelve hours notice. (Cost $65.00 per head including wine). The farm tour is free for those guests staying two or more nights, taking between 2-3 hours.(Weather Dependant) For those guests stay for one night there is a charge of $195.00 for the tour. The scenery will take your breath away. Ideal place for family to stay as there are two bedrooms, one Queen bed and two single beds. As one guest said " It is lovely to relax after a hectic day in Hanmer at the cottage in peace and quiet". Guest access The guests are able to use the heated swimming pool in the Summer and the Spa all the year round. Also able to go for a walk down along the Pahau river. A BBQ is also available for guests use (returned cleaned please) The guests that stay for two or more night have the opportunity for a free farm tour with the owner. The tour takes between 2-3 hours. (Cost $315.00 for those staying for one night). Other things to note The farm is 35 minutes from Hanmer Springs and 10 minutes from Culverden; Nr the wineries close to Amberley; Nr the Skiing of Mt Lydford and Amuri in the winter. Also the Hurunui river and Waiau river for fishing. Pony Trekking is also available near-by. The Weka Pass Railway which runs at weekends and Public Holidays is 30 minutes away close to Waitara Valley wineries. This is a working farm so guests must be aware of the animals and farm vehicles.
