Wongaburra is a private horse farm on 618 acres of redgum paddocks and bushland close to aboriginal art sites + walking trails - 1 hour from Hall's Gap tourist precinct. Adjoining ‘wing’ of our farmhouse - accom has private entry, with 2 bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, split system heat/aircon + wood heater, kitchenette, patio, outdoor dining w gas bbq. Comfortable mattresses and all linen supplied. Private locked entry/exit. Fridge/kettle/microwave/tea & coffee, breakfast ingredients provided The space . Private space with own access, same building - adjoining ‘wing’ of owner’s home. . Our farmhouse bnb has a 'bohemian' style with repurposed and antique furniture and working fireplace. . Breakfast ingredients supplied incl. bacon/eggs/muesli/tinned fruit/toast breads + tea/coffee (microwave/toaster/kettle etc indoors) . Outdoor eating area under shady trees with gas bbq set in front garden area. . 'Digital detox' - NO wifi/blackspot mobile area. . Surrounded by magnificent 200-400 yr old redgum trees. . Emus, wallabies and kangaroos as well as multi-species of birds visit here (we dont feed them so they are no threat to visitors) . 'Meet the farm animals' tour offered to all guests. Our friendly dog and horses love to see new faces! Guests are welcome to join us for morning horse feeding! . Roam our redgum paddocks and view our wildlife - we are happy to point out easy walks and best observation points as well as landmarks. . Step outside on clear nights and see the magnificent sky! No city light interference...we recommend! . 'Horse experience' sessions available (booking required on arrival) - 1-2 hour demonstration and interaction with our friendly well trained horses (no riding involved) - learn about 'Natural Horsemanship' and how we train our horses using communication and understanding of horse psychology & behaviour. 'Play' with a horse in our purpose built obstacle course! Guest access You have private access to the accommodation, parking in front, private gate onto entry, no shared indoor spaces, outdoor dining and garden area and key for door. Verandah/patio area undercover (only ‘shared’ space with hosts - at front of house) elect powerboard set up for cooking with electric frypan/hotplate on the ‘bar’ with bar stools for seating. Please note * no inside kitchen, all cooking is outdoors (except microwave, kettle & toaster) We have another separate bnb accom building with full indoor kitchen facilities - listed at Airbnb under ‘Wongaburra Woolshed'. Both accom are spaced apart and private. Other things to note We do not allow visiting dogs here, sorry! Please do not ask us to make exceptions. We do not have wifi available, as we are in a 'black hole' area...your mobile will have very limited coverage. (you might see this as a good thing like we do right? Call it digital detox!)
