The space Great Eccleston is a quaint village tucked away just off the A585 and within a few miles of the M55 and M6. It is ideally located to visit the beautiful AONB area of the Forest of Bowland which is perfect for walkers and cyclists. It is also within easy reach of Blackpool, Lancaster and Preston, and only an hours drive from the beautiful Lake District . The accommodation consists of : Lounge with comfy settee and armchair, plus dining table and tv. The kitchen is fully equipped for those wishing to cater for themselves. There is a fridge with small freezer, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and plenty of space. The second bedroom has a single bed, chest of drawers and bedside table. There is also a fold-up bed for a fourth adult or child which can be used either next to the double bed or in the lounge. The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over The garden has a patio with table and chairs for those wishing to eat al fresco plus a bench and recliner to relax and catch the sun. There is ample space for parking two cars in the driveway. For those with an electric vehicle there is an EV charging point in the village. For those of you with children, there is a travel cot (please bring bedding) and travel high chair available plus a variety of toys and books to keep them occupied. The house is located in a small peaceful cul-de-sac and is only a 5 minute walk to the village where you will find a variety of shops, including a family run butchers, a bakers for not only your freshly baked bread but delicious pies, pasties and filled rolls prepared as you wait. The Post Office sells newspapers and a range of wines and beer, and there is a convenience store for any essentials. The nearest supermarket is in Garstang which is only 6 miles away. If you wish to eat out you will find restaurants and pubs in the village offering a variety of dishes. It is also only a short drive away to find other places to eat and you will find information available There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area, and lots of information is provided at the house. The coast at Blackpool, Lytham St Annes and Lytham is only a 20 minutes drive away and for those with children plenty to entertain them there. For any golfers, there is a professional golf course at Lytham. There are swimming baths at nearby Poulton le Fylde and a cinema, curling rink and bowling at Barton Grange Garden Centre.
