Description
A 100 year-old stone storehouse still standing in the middle of the woods that has been converted into a photo art gallery is now also a lodging facility. You can enjoy this unique space surrounded by the photographs of Hokkaido’s natural scenery. Log cabin behind the storehouse will be available next Spring. The space It's a 100 year-old stone storehouse built in the Meiji era. Please enjoy the private photography space on the first floor, mountain hut-like relaxation space and bedroom (2 rooms) on the second floor. The kitchen is completely furnished. (Free coffee and tea) Guest access During the summer you can enjoy barbecuing and eating outside in the spacious yard. Outdoor tableware and sink furnished. You can also have plenty of outdoor fun through the year. Feel free to walk around our 35,000 square feet property. A BBQ grill, tableware, sink, etc. are available for use. Other things to note Lighting is limited due to the small windows. And because of the very steep staircase we do not recommend those with bad backs/legs, and children to stay. In addition, please note that the toilet is only on the second floor. Anyone interested though please do not hesitate to contact us. The bathtub is unusually small and may not be big enough for larger guests. We recommend using the shower or the neighborhood hot springs located 10 minutes away by car. Being an old building surrounded by trees, it is impossible to keep out all the living creatures (insects, etc.) even in winter. We do our best in cleaning but please keep this in mind when making your reservation. The toilet is a simplified flush type. Registration Details Hotels and Inns Business Act | 北海道上川保健所 | 上保生第346号指令
