Billabong Cottage gives you space to rest and breath. A lovingly restored 110 year old cottage, with all the luxuries of well appointed rooms and ensuites. Located only 2hrs45 from Sydney, 25 minutes to Seal Rocks beach and 15 minutes from Bulahdelah. Set on 30 beautiful acres, with a creek, a billabong, a dam and forest area. Abundant birdlife and wildlife can be viewed in the many native habitat. Bring your boat or canoe to drop in the Great Lakes only 15 minutes away. The space There is a magical feel to this beautiful land. It is ancient, traditional Woromi Women's country and we acknowledge their ancestors and elders. We feel privileged to be caring for this beautiful place and appreciate the rest and renewal felt in this land. The 110 year old house, carefully restored, sits gently in this place, providing you with the peace and space to be with family and friends. Wake in one of three elegant rooms, each with a spacious ensuite, and stroll out onto your own private outdoor space. Sink into pillow top mattresses, covered with 1000 thread count sheets for that dreamy sleep. The queen bed in each room offers a beautiful sleep on a high quality mattress. The kitchen is extensively equipped for all of your cooking requirements, making your stay a pleasure. Cook a delicious meal on a large 6 burner gas top and oven by Smeg. Store your evening drinks in the drinks fridge if you choose. Enjoy your meal inside near a fire, or on the deck in the open air, watching the sunset. Shove it all in the dishwasher to do the hard work at the end of your evening. When you wake, take a pot of loose leaf tea, in a delicate tea set, out onto your deck to start your day of relaxation surrounded by birdsong.
