Open Skies, Newgale, Pembrokeshire

Just 200m above the spectacular 2 mile sandy beach at Newgale, Open Skies is an ideal centre for an active or restful break. The Pembrokeshire coastal path runs almost outside your doorstep and Solva is just4 miles away with the iconic city of St. Davids 8 miles away. The bedroom is on the ground floor and at the front of the house and so has magnificent sea views. Newgale is in the heart of the National Park and a great place for visiting the area, walking or taking part in water sports. The space The room at Open Skies has a king size bed and sitting area for relaxing and the en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower. Adjoining the bedroom is a small area for your exclusive use, with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, microwave and toaster. A full continental breakfast of fruit, pastries and cereals is provided for you to eat at your leisure in the room. We live in the upper rooms of the house and are available if required but we will never intrude. Outside, you are free to use the area in front of the house for sitting or dining with chairs and picnic benches provided. Guest access There is ample private parking at Open Skies and Newgale is on a regular bus route from Haverfordwest to St. Davids. There is also a coastal bus run by the National Park Authority which can be very useful if you want to walk a section of the coast path. There is a pub in the village (closed temporarily after a fire in 2024) although there is a cafe. Hire of surfing and kite surfing equipment is available together with instruction. Lifeguards patrol the Blue Flag beach during the summer school holidays. Other things to note Adjoining your room is a small private kitchen area with fridge, microwave, toaster and washing machine. A Continental breakfast is provided for you to eat in your room or outside if weather permits.
